I am a Professor of Botany, an honorary Air Force Officer and a national level athelete. I work with Today’s youth towards ethical politics and meaningful opportunity.

Born in Bihar
I was born and raised in Bihar — The state I would later return to, to pursue local grassroot initiatives & community driven works.
OriginFormative Years
I began my educational journey from Bhagalpur and spent a few years in a middle school located in a remote village of Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Those formative years, spent amid the simplicity and challenges of rural life, shaped my outlook, resilience, and appreciation for the transformative power of education.

I chose the science stream — the decision that set me on the path toward botany and ecological research.

I pursued Advanced Studies in Botany from Hansraj College, the foundation for my work on plant biodiversity and ecological resilience.

Academic Work
I am a Professor of Botany at Deshbandhu College, University of Delhi teaching students plant biodiversity and ecological resilience with field research in the Himalayas. As a member of Academic Council of Delhi University for two consecutive terms and member of sub-committee on academic matters I had shaped the curriculum of multiple courses during implementation of NEP.
Fieldwork & Environment
I have travelled extensively across Himalayas for more than 50,000/- km doing research, field work and social outreach.
Sport & Photography
Once recognised by Sports Authority of India at National Level in Junior Volley Ball I have hobbies like Photography (documenting plant biodiversity and wildlife). I am a BMC graduate from Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM).
Public Service
I bring the same discipline to public life — working with Youth on ethical politics, equal opportunities, employment and contributing to their development through steady on the ground effort.
